Welcome to the Center for the Study of Race, Ethnicity and Politics

Over the past few years, the Center has brought renowned scholars such as Melissa Harris-Lacewell, Edward Telles, Marcyliena Morgan and Michael Omi to UCLA to share their research and their scholarship. The Center has also worked to produce important research such as the data produced by the Los Angeles County Social Survey (LACSS). Once again the CSREP looks forward to another exciting year of interdisciplinary lectures, research and scholarship that works to advance the existing knowledge of race, ethnicity and politics.
